AtbFinder® antibiotic selection under patient-mimicking conditions: therapies that work in the clinic, not only in the lab.

Antibiotics

AtbFinder — the first ever test that selects antibiotics in patient-mimicking conditions, identifies therapies that work in the body, and finds effective regimens when others fail.

Combinations

Unique and safe antibiotic combinations designed to overcome antimicrobial resistance.

Concentrations

Antibiotics are tested at clinically achievable concentrations at the site of infection based on approved dosing.

FAQ

Everything you wanted
to know about AtbFinder

What is bacterial and fungal “memory”?

Microorganisms maintain a form of “memory” — a stable state shaped by their environment and interactions within the host. This memory influences how they respond to antibiotics.

When bacteria or fungi are isolated into pure cultures, as in standard AST workflows, this memory is lost, altering their antibiotic susceptibility profiles and removing the effects of biofilm structure and interspecies interactions.

AtbFinder preserves the native microbial community and its phenotypic memory, allowing antibiotic response to be assessed under conditions that more closely reflect the in vivo infection environment.

How does AtbFinder identify treatment options for antibiotic-resistant organisms?
